Davis students rejuvenate LEGO wall through collaborative community effort

Davis Elementary School is set to undergo a vibrant transformation thanks to the collaborative efforts of students, families, and staff, as highlighted in the recent Board of Education meeting held by the New Rochelle City School District. The centerpiece of this initiative is the rejuvenation of the school's beloved LEGO wall, originally created in 2019 by a kindergarten student, Peter Graves, who envisioned a space for creativity and expression.

During the meeting, it was revealed that third-grade students had been actively engaged in writing opinion pieces advocating for improvements to the LEGO wall.
