Queen Creek celebrates exceptional students and teachers at annual recognition event

Queen Creek's Town Council meeting on April 17, 2025, celebrated local educators and students, highlighting the community's commitment to education and civic engagement. The three finalists—Logan from Highland Junior High, Anna May, and Peyton from Eastmark High School—will advance to the Arizona State competition on May 2, with hopes of representing Arizona at the national level in Washington, D.C.

Additionally, the council proclaimed April as Work Zone Awareness Week, emphasizing the importance of safe driving in construction areas. Council Member Brown urged motorists to remain vigilant and reduce distractions to ensure the safety of both drivers and roadway workers.
