Cass County Parks and Inspectors Report Highlights June Activities and Monthly Performance

The Logansport City Council convened on July 17, 2025, to discuss various departmental reports and community activities. The meeting began with a review of the Parks Department's monthly report, highlighting a successful June with 27 swim lessons, 32 tennis lessons, and 41 golf lessons. The police department's monthly report was then presented, detailing significant activity over the past month. Officers logged 25,284 miles and responded to 943 calls for service, resulting in 90 arrests and 71 citations. The criminal investigation division managed 12 cases, with a focus on drug-related offenses, including methamphetamine and heroin. The council approved the police department's report, concluding the meeting on a positive note with all reports receiving unanimous support.
