The North Pike School District board approved an addendum to the E‑Rate Form 471 purchase agreement that lets the district lock vendor bid rates for up to five years while it applies for federal E‑Rate funding; the agreement does not obligate immediate purchases, board members were told.
The superintendent told the board that persistent low water pressure, sand and debris in toilets, and recurring dining/phone-line issues at district schools remain unresolved; the district has spent about $50,000 patching the problems and will obtain new quotes and may invite the water association to meet with the board.
The North Pike School District board unanimously approved updating its board policies to show a review date of December 2025, rescheduled the 2026 board retreat to June, and approved the 2026 officer rotation; the meeting moved to executive session to discuss personnel.
