The Elizabethtown Area School District held its Board Reorganization Meeting and Workshop Session on December 3, 2024, where various topics related to the district's athletic programs and upcoming community events were discussed.

The meeting began with a review of the fall sports season. The golf team faced challenges, finishing with a record of 3 wins and 27 losses, which did not qualify them for the postseason. In contrast, the girls' tennis team excelled with an impressive record of 11 wins and 2 losses, securing the Lancaster Lebanon League Section 2 Championship. Dasha Ghenturk was recognized as a Lancaster Lebanon League All Star and named Section 2 Player of the Year.

The boys' soccer team concluded their season with a record of 6 wins, 8 losses, and 2 ties. Notable players included Nicholas Houck and Bridal Jaskow, who were named first team all stars, while Dylan Bell and Drew Stark received second team all star honors. The meeting also acknowledged Coach Sustek, who retired after 30 years of service.

The girls' soccer team finished with a record of 7 wins and 9 losses, with Danielle Bruno earning first team honors and Kylie West and Kaylee Stauffer being named second team all stars. The girls' volleyball team qualified for the PIAA District 3 playoffs with a record of 10 wins and 6 losses.

Highlighting a significant achievement, the field hockey team finished with a record of 13 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties, becoming Section 2 champions and advancing to the PIAA state playoffs for the first time in 50 years, winning a state playoff game. Players Piper Patrick, Tessa Cronin, Faith Musker, and Regan Florey earned first team honors in Section 2.

The boys' cross country team was celebrated as the Lancaster Lebanon League Section 2 champions with a record of 7 wins and 0 losses, while the girls' team finished with 6 wins and 1 loss. Both teams qualified for the PIAA state championship, with Gabby Griffin and Dante making the second Section 2 first team.

The football team concluded their season with a record of 2 wins and 8 losses, with Caleb Fugue being named to the Lancaster Lebanon League First Team All Star.

In closing, the meeting announced a community open house scheduled for Wednesday, December 11th, from 4 to 6 PM. This event will celebrate the grand opening of the new athletic field house and the unveiling of the renovated track and football field.
