A lifelong resident of Norwalk, Haley is not only an active participant in cheerleading and volleyball but also aspires to become a surgeon. The mayor acknowledged her leadership and courage, emphasizing the positive impact young individuals like Haley have on the community.
Following the flag salute, the mayor presented Haley with a special medal in recognition of her participation, encouraging her to pursue her dreams, including her ambition of one day becoming the mayor of Norwalk. The council members expressed their appreciation with applause, highlighting the importance of youth engagement in local governance.
