The Finance Committee (FINCOM) has yet to vote on the proposal but plans to revisit it on October 10, seeking further details on property valuation, mortgage amounts, and the rationale behind the cost increase.

The CPC's proposal includes a grant agreement with a security instrument and clawback provisions to ensure accountability, as advised by town council and the finance director. The appraisal for the property is expected to be completed shortly, which will provide crucial information for the project's financial assessment.
