He discussed his past initiatives, including programs for homeless veterans and the expansion of veteran benefit counselors across Arizona, which have collectively brought in over $90 million monthly in benefits for veterans.

Brigadier General David Burkland, commander of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, also addressed the audience. He reflected on his upbringing as an Air Force brat and the sacrifices made by military families. Burkland praised the community's support for active-duty service members and veterans, noting the impressive growth of the area while maintaining a strong relationship with military operations.

The event concluded with a call for unity and appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans, reinforcing the importance of community support for those who have served.
