Carras outlined the current limitations of the existing softball fields, which are primarily used by Cohea's athletics program. He proposed transforming these fields into a multidimensional facility that would include a soccer field, HVAC systems, pickleball courts, and access to an indoor basketball gymnasium. This expansion aims to provide Hialeah residents with greater access to recreational facilities, including outdoor basketball and tennis courts, during school hours.

The student representative also addressed concerns about traffic and parking, noting that the proposed design would increase parking availability and alleviate congestion during school hours.
