Coach Sacco expressed profound gratitude to his colleagues and first responders, detailing how their quick actions and training were instrumental in his survival. He credited them with performing CPR and ensuring he received timely medical attention, which ultimately led to a successful surgery.
The meeting featured a formal recognition ceremony where Coach Sacco presented medals and plaques to the staff members and firefighters from Frisco Fire Stations 5 and 9, who responded to the emergency. Cameron Waldo, a representative from the American Heart Association, also participated in the ceremony, highlighting the importance of CPR training and wellness programs in schools.
