Brigham City appoints new treasurer amid heartfelt farewells

Brigham City has appointed Karina Christensen as the new city treasurer, succeeding Diane Reichardt, who recently passed away. Christensen, previously the deputy treasurer, has been with the city for over five years and is praised for her capability and experience in the finance office. Additionally, the Brigham City Fire Department welcomed several new hires, including firefighters and emergency medical technicians, who were sworn in during the meeting. Two promotions within the fire department were also announced, recognizing Todd Love and Eric Blachhouse as engineers, a role that involves significant technical expertise in operating fire engines and managing emergency situations.
