They revealed that a mediator had withdrawn from negotiations in July, leaving them without updates until an email from Ashley Scott on October 1 confirmed that Elyria would cover the shortfall. However, subsequent correspondence on October 30 indicated that John Gregory had backed out of the project, effectively terminating it.
