The council authorized a payment of $850 to Kevin Kane for wildlife control services for October, alongside a payment of $510 to Hideaway Kennels for animal control services for the same month. Both motions passed unanimously.

Parks and Recreation representative Julie Overman announced the repeal of a previous resolution regarding a $60,000 grant request for the Heritage Hill Park Walking Trail Improvements Project Phase 2. The borough has since received a grant award of $142,000 for the project, prompting the repeal.

The meeting also highlighted upcoming community events, including the annual Halloween parade and the upcoming \"Season of Lights\" holiday market scheduled for November 30. The athletic association reported a significant increase in participation for basketball programs, with 345 participants this year compared to 283 last year, indicating a growing interest in youth sports within the community.
