During a recent government meeting, the appointment of new committee members was a key focus, with six candidates applying for four available positions. The candidates included Jim Dunlap, Doug Ekman, John McClain, Anne Neef, Tyler Spradling, and Don Suddath.

Tyler Spradling, a lifelong resident of the area, expressed his desire to contribute to the committee, emphasizing the importance of local perspective. John McClain, who has previously served on the Local Planning Agency (LPA), highlighted his experience and expressed hope for reappointment.

After a brief discussion, council members cast their votes for the candidates. The results revealed that Jim Dunlap and John McClain each received five votes, securing their positions. Don Suddath followed with four votes, and Doug Ekman received three votes. Tyler Spradling and Anne Neef garnered two and one vote, respectively.
