Known for her vibrant personality and dedication to education, Lisa served as a cherished president at Sierra Madre Elementary School and spent most of her teaching career in a combined kindergarten and first-grade classroom.

Originally from New York, Lisa brought her theatrical background into the classroom, captivating her students with her storytelling and character voices. She was affectionately known as \"Lily, the literary lunatic,\" and was a prominent figure during the school's Reading Under the Stars night. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays, where she took center stage as the host of the city's annual costume contest.

Beyond her role as an educator, Lisa contributed significantly to the community, including her involvement in the Mount Wilson Veil Race and the presentation that earned Sierra Madre the All American City designation in 2007. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on students, families, and colleagues alike, with many remembering her as a \"spectacular supernova\" whose light brightened the lives of those around her.
