During a recent government meeting, a local resident expressed frustration over the lack of action taken to address the issue, describing the situation as \"terror on that street.\"

The resident reported that out of 65 cars counted at the intersection, 59 failed to stop, highlighting a troubling trend that has left community members feeling unsafe. Despite reaching out to the police department for assistance, the resident was informed that they could not manage the situation, prompting calls for the city to implement measures such as speed bumps to enhance safety.

Concerns were also raised about recent city infrastructure changes, including the installation of traffic islands near Nathan Hale High School, which the resident deemed dangerous and ineffective. They argued that these modifications could pose additional risks, especially during winter months when visibility may be compromised.

The resident concluded their remarks by urging city officials to reconsider their spending priorities, suggesting that funds could be better allocated to address pressing safety concerns rather than ineffective traffic solutions.
