In a recent meeting of the Manor City Council, a proposed ordinance to rezone approximately 2.68 acres from M1 Light Manufacturing District to B2 General Business District was discussed but ultimately postponed indefinitely. The ordinance, which pertained to properties located at 5879, 5865, and 5855 Heiseley Road, was rendered moot after the applicant withdrew their rezoning request. Following this development, council members unanimously voted to postpone the ordinance.

Additionally, the council announced plans for a Veterans Day ceremony scheduled for November 11th at 11:11 AM. This year’s event will take place at the Menor Municipal Cemetery Memorial Promenade, located at 6881 Hopkins Road. The council encourages public attendance, particularly from local veterans groups, to honor those who have served in the military.
