In a recent government meeting, educators and officials gathered to celebrate the academic achievements of students across several local elementary and middle schools. The event highlighted outstanding performances in standardized testing, particularly in language arts and mathematics.

Sutton Dover was recognized for achieving a perfect score in the 4th grade language arts reading subtest. Aidan Habovic was also honored in his absence for his accomplishments. At Lauren Elementary School, four students were celebrated: Cash Anderson for the highest score in 4th grade language arts, Mila Vonsale for the highest score in 5th grade math, and Ash Lynn Owens and Lillian Stayer for perfect scores in the 4th grade writing subtest.

Oak Ridge Elementary School showcased numerous high achievers, including Avery Monroe, who received recognition for a perfect score in the 4th grade language arts writing subtest, and several students who attained the highest scores in 5th grade math and English Language Arts. Notably, Emily Ulrich and Wednesday Burns were acknowledged for their perfect scores in the reading subtest, despite their absence from the event.

Clover Middle School also participated in the celebration, with Trinity Scott recognized for the highest score in 6th grade math, Bryce Hegler for a perfect score in the 7th grade language arts reading subtest, and Harper Robbins for a perfect score in the 8th grade language arts writing subtest.

Finally, Oak Ridge Middle School had a significant number of students honored for their academic excellence, particularly in math and language arts across various grades. The meeting concluded with a commendation of the 4th grade math scores, which ranked first in the state, reflecting the hard work and dedication of both students and educators.

This recognition event not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored the commitment to academic excellence within the community's schools.
