Council member Simon reported attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new football field at Salarita High School, which coincided with a victory for the team. He also mentioned a similar event at Walden Grove High School, which many council members could not attend due to a prior commitment.

Subscribe for Free Town Manager Dilley provided updates on ongoing renovations at the La Valida Community Center, noting that improvements are progressing well and are expected to be completed by early January 2025. He hinted at potential new activities, such as indoor pickleball, once the renovations are finished.
