During a recent government meeting, students from Bissell School presented their ongoing efforts to revitalize the school's courtyard, transforming it into a more inviting and functional space for both learning and relaxation. The initiative, led by teacher Mr. Hill, has engaged students in various activities aimed at enhancing the courtyard's appearance and usability.

One student highlighted the importance of the courtyard as a communal area where teachers can take their classes to enjoy the outdoors. Another student, Luke Piper, emphasized the need for aesthetic improvements, detailing their efforts to clean up the area by sweeping, raking leaves, and pulling weeds. The class has also introduced new perennial plants, some of which were donated by families in the community.
