The Spanish Fork City Council recently discussed the upcoming air show scheduled for September 28, highlighting its exciting features and community involvement opportunities. The event will showcase a vintage B-25 bomber, a lineup of approximately 15 warbirds, and thrilling aerobatic performances from seven to eight different acts.
In addition to the aerial displays, attendees can enjoy helicopter rides, exotic car racing, and an autocross event. This year, the air show will also introduce a STEM city, aimed at educating youth about careers in aviation through various vendors and businesses.
The planning committee presented a custom t-shirt design for the event and encouraged council members to mark their calendars, volunteer, and promote the air show within the community. Volunteers will receive free admission, a t-shirt, and lunch, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to contribute to the event.
For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the newly launched air show website at spanishfork.org/airshow. The council expressed enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing its importance in celebrating aviation history and engaging the community.
