Investigation reveals troubling allegations at local massage parlor

Concerns surrounding potential illegal activities at a local massage establishment have come to light following a series of complaints and incidents reported to law enforcement. The issues date back to 2020, but significant developments occurred in 2022.

In May 2022, two employees at the 127 South Military address were cited for providing massage therapy without the necessary licenses. Despite this citation, both individuals remain employed at the business. The situation escalated in November 2022 when an anonymous complainant alleged that she witnessed inappropriate conduct involving her husband during a visit to the spa. According to her account, she entered the establishment and observed two female employees inappropriately touching her husband. However, the husband denied any wrongdoing, claiming that the employees only touched his inner thigh during the massage. Due to the lack of a victim willing to cooperate further, law enforcement was unable to pursue the matter.

In December 2022, another complaint was filed by a customer who overheard a suspicious conversation while receiving a massage. She reported that a male patron was inquiring about services that included multiple female employees and requested that the staff remove their masks so he could see their faces. Although she found the exchange concerning, she did not report it until several days later and did not indicate any illegal activity during her own massage.

These incidents have raised alarms about potential human trafficking and prostitution at the establishment, prompting ongoing scrutiny from local authorities. The situation remains under investigation as officials seek to address the community's concerns regarding the business's operations.
