The litter control officer reported that two sites on Scott Avenue have been cleaned, with close monitoring in place due to anticipated increases in camping as health services relocate to the area.

Additionally, updates were provided on the construction of a KOA campground and a BMX park, both of which are set to begin shortly. The KOA campground will feature 137 full hookups, including over 100 drive-through sites and 30 back-in sites, along with cabins. This facility aims to enhance local tourism by integrating with existing amenities at Mylan Park, which include a swimming pool and newly opened pickleball courts.

The meeting also highlighted the upcoming grand opening of six pickleball courts at Mountain Park, reflecting a growing interest in recreational activities within the community. Officials expressed enthusiasm for these developments, emphasizing their potential to attract visitors year-round and promote outdoor engagement among residents.
