Students Shine with Perfect Scores in SC Ready Assessment

During the recent school board meeting, a spotlight was shone on the academic achievements of 57 exceptional students from School District 5, all of whom attained the highest possible scores on the 2023 SC Ready assessment, which evaluates reading and math skills for grades 3 through 8.

The meeting commenced with an invocation led by Trustee Elizabeth Barnhart, who emphasized the importance of wisdom and respect in discussions affecting the school district. Following this, Dr. Ross and Ms. Taylor took the stage to recognize the outstanding students, who were joined by their supportive principals.

The recognition ceremony highlighted the hard work and dedication of the students, with names being called out one by one, celebrating their remarkable accomplishments.
