Community Gears Up for Exciting Fall Events

The upcoming weeks in Rialto will be bustling with community events aimed at promoting health, wellness, and local engagement. The Senior Health and Wellness Expo is set for Thursday, September 12th, at the Grace Vargas Senior Center, running concurrently with a crafts and hobby fair from 10 AM to 2 PM.

On Saturday, September 14th, a park cleanup will take place at Rialto City Park, where volunteers will replace picnic tables and paint facilities, contributing to the park's beautification. Following this, Ferguson Park will undergo playground resurfacing starting Monday, September 16th, leading to a temporary closure of the park structure for approximately a week and a half.

Additionally, the Grace Vargas Senior Center will host a food distribution event by Feeding America on Wednesday, September 18th, from 9 to 11 AM, alongside a free flu shot clinic provided by Albertsons during the same hours.

Looking ahead, Petapalooza will be held at the Civic Center on Saturday, September 21st, from 9 AM to 1 PM, followed by the Tiny Tots Harvest Party at the Carl Johnson Center on Saturday, September 28th, from 1 to 3 PM.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for several significant events: Viva La Fiesta on September 28th at Jerry Eaves Park from 5:30 to 9:30 PM, Walk Like Mad on October 5th at Joe Sampson Park, and the Black on the Block Young Entrepreneurs Expo at Rialto City Park on the same day. The floating pumpkin patch will return to Tom Sawyer Pool on October 19th, and Halloween Hijinks will take place at the Civic Center on October 31st from 5:30 to 9:30 PM.
