Cannon Falls hosted an exciting varsity football game on Friday night, featuring the home team Bombers against the visiting Dover Eota Eagles. The event, sanctioned by the Minnesota State High School League and the Southeast Football District, emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, encouraging attendees to support players, coaches, and officials positively.

The evening was particularly special as it marked Senior Night, a celebration honoring the senior football players of the Bombers. As part of the festivities, the Cannon Falls VFW Post 4452 presented the colors, followed by a stirring rendition of the national anthem performed by the Cannon Falls Pep Band, directed by Mike Leggold. Spectators were asked to stand at attention until the flag left the field, reinforcing the community's respect for both the game and the freedoms it represents.
