This event will feature entertainment and food, running from 6 PM to 8 PM.
On Saturday, a family-friendly cookout will take place from 11 AM to 3 PM on the South Lawn of Village Hall. This year’s cookout will highlight over 30 black-owned businesses, providing them a platform to showcase their products. Entertainment will include performances by the Jesse White Tumblers, Bucket Boys, Kumba Kids, and headlining band Midnight Sun, known for their R&B and funk music.
Additionally, this year’s Juneteenth t-shirts were designed by local artist Hassani Cannon, featuring a theme of \"remembering our history and claiming our future.\" The shirts incorporate Juneteenth colors of red, yellow, and green, reflecting the community's commitment to honoring its heritage.
