City staff reported that the final plan remains consistent with the preliminary conditions of approval, although engineering teams are still finalizing stormwater management details before the proposal is presented to the city council for final approval.
Commissioners raised questions regarding the building heights and proximity to existing residential areas, confirming that the original plan for two-story buildings adjacent to residential properties and three-story buildings on the eastern side remains intact. Concerns about the distance between existing homes and the new development were addressed, indicating that the recent changes would not impact those specific areas.
Overall, staff recommended approval of the final plat and PUD development plan, signaling a positive step forward for the project.
