During a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the successful organization of a community tournament sponsored by Elijah Sandoval Construction, which contributed $500 to the event. Hess Salisbury from Pueblo took the lead in organizing the tournament, with a commitment that 25% of all funds raised will be donated to the Faith and Equity Veterans Memorial Park.
The meeting also acknowledged the contributions of Coors, which provided banners to express gratitude to all sponsors and donors. These banners will be prominently displayed at Chapman Park, Marsh Park, and Pullenvoider Park.
Special recognition was given to Larry Gardner for his extensive efforts in ensuring the success of the car and bike show and the poker run, along with appreciation for the staff and volunteers who played a crucial role in bringing the event to fruition. The meeting concluded with a heartfelt thank you to all sponsors, donors, supporters, and volunteers involved in the initiative.
