The meeting also recognized Chad West for his courageous actions in assisting law enforcement. West intervened during a reckless driving incident, calling 911 and pursuing the driver until police arrived. His quick thinking and bravery led to the apprehension of the driver and passengers involved in the incident. The council commended West for his actions, highlighting the importance of community involvement in ensuring public safety.
