Community leaders rally to revive vital support initiative

In a recent government meeting, discussions centered around the funding and organization of a local stand down event aimed at supporting veterans. To address this, they sought support from the Longview Kelso Elks Lodge, which agreed to manage the funds raised for the event. The president explained that while they are requesting $12,000 for the stand down, the actual expenditure may be less, depending on community donations and support for items such as food and supplies.
