Key priorities identified from the feedback included full-day kindergarten, classroom improvements, and safety and security enhancements. The community committee overwhelmingly favored a new school plus expansion solution, while the general public showed a preference for a mix of new construction and renovations.

The firm also discussed potential funding levels for the proposed projects, noting that 72% of respondents supported at least one funding option, with a slight preference for higher funding levels. However, concerns were raised about the feasibility of the highest funding level, which received a net negative support rating.

The board is now faced with the decision of whether to proceed with a referendum on the November ballot, with a deadline for voting on the ballot question set for August 19. The firm emphasized the importance of moving forward quickly, given the community's readiness and the potential for high voter turnout in November.
