Jackson leaders face community outcry over water crisis

Mayor responded by condemning any threats of violence and emphasized the city's commitment to equitable solutions for residents facing water issues. He announced plans for a community meeting to discuss these challenges further.

Another resident, Shilari Smiley, expressed frustration over ongoing gun violence in her neighborhood, reporting a lack of response from law enforcement despite multiple incidents. The Mayor directed her to speak with Chief Watts to coordinate a strategy for addressing these safety concerns.
