The teacher highlighted that only 94 educators in the county achieved NBC status during this period, emphasizing the professional pride associated with this accomplishment. However, they raised concerns about the removal of the $7,000 enhancement for five teachers who attained NBC status while teaching at a school identified by MSDE during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years.
