During a recent government meeting, Katie Kinderdebush, representing the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA), highlighted the organization's significant impact on local youth through music education. YOSA currently serves 500 students across 12 tiered orchestras and reaches an additional 2,000 students via its community education program.

Kinderdebush also noted the involvement of Jacob Eddy, a YOSA alumnus and current student at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, emphasizing the program's commitment to fostering talent. Additionally, she mentioned that a student from Cactus Pear is currently touring with YOSA in Germany, where they will soon visit San Antonio's sister city, Darmstadt. This international engagement underscores the program's dedication to providing enriching experiences for its students.
