City plans exciting beer and brats venue expansion

During a recent government meeting, officials discussed several community developments and initiatives aimed at enhancing local engagement and economic growth in Paulsville.

Additionally, the city is moving forward with its plans for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), with the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) closing on Monday. Several new business proposals were also presented. ACME, formerly known as Mora Ice Cream, is seeking to expand its ice cream production on Viking Way. A proposal for a new venture, \"Beers and Brats,\" aims to establish a picnic area with local meats and beers on Third Avenue, near the Marina Market. Furthermore, Valvoline has proposed to set up an instant oil change service in Ojeda, indicating a growing interest in diverse business operations within the city.

In community service efforts, the American Legion is organizing a work party this Saturday, inviting volunteers to assist with various projects. Additionally, a collaborative initiative is being planned for September 11, where different service groups will engage in regional service projects, such as park maintenance and cleanup.

The meeting also addressed the upcoming reconstruction of the skate park at Rob Park, with the first phase focusing on a half-pipe set to begin next week.

On the public safety front, updates were provided regarding the installation of speed cameras on Viking Avenue, with testing expected to start in early September and live issuance by October.
