Council member champions Israel during historic Knesset visit

During a recent city council meeting, Councilmember Louis Reinstein shared his experiences from a family vacation to Israel, where he had the opportunity to present resolutions and a proclamation from the city of Plantation to the Israeli Knesset. The council had previously passed these documents in support of Israel, particularly in light of recent conflicts involving Hamas and Hezbollah.

Reinstein recounted how he sought authorization from the mayor and administration to bring copies of the resolutions and proclamation to Israel. He was able to present them during a joint committee meeting at the Knesset, coinciding with a session where families of hostages were also present, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
