The council is set to conduct a public hearing to gather community feedback regarding a request from American Medical Response (AMR) to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services within Riverside.

The proposed ordinance aims to grant AMR a franchise to operate ambulances in the city until November 8, 2027. Additionally, the council is expected to approve an operational agreement between the City of Riverside and AMR. This agreement will empower the city manager or their designee to execute the operational contract, allowing for minor or substantive changes as necessary.
