Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has revealed that he took two luxury trips in 2019, partially funded by Republican donor Harlan Crowe. The trips, to Bali, Indonesia, and California's wine country, were reportedly \"inadvertently omitted\" from previous financial disclosures. This revelation follows a ProPublica report last year that intensified scrutiny on the ethical standards of the Supreme Court.
In a separate legal development, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges related to alleged election subversion in Arizona. Alongside him, Michael Roman, who directed Trump's Election Day operations, also entered a not guilty plea. Both are accused of participating in a scheme to submit false elector names to Congress in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election, in which Joe Biden won Arizona by over 10,000 votes.
