Denny's set to open in Wallowa boosting local dining scene

During a recent government meeting, Brian Predmore, the district manager for Feast Restaurants, announced the anticipated opening of a Denny's restaurant in Wallowa, tentatively scheduled for between September 23 and October 1. Predmore expressed enthusiasm for the new venture, emphasizing the restaurant's commitment to community involvement and support. He noted that Denny's will be the only 24-hour full-service restaurant in the area, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner around the clock.

In a separate public comment, resident Sharon Schuller raised concerns about the declining use of bicycles in Walla Walla since 2010. She highlighted a perceived reduction in bicycle parking facilities amidst ongoing city construction and improvements, urging local officials to consider the needs of cyclists in future planning.
