Residents demand action as code violations persist

However, after sending multiple emails to the growth management department, they received only one response on June 20, 2024, and have since been left in the dark. The situation has escalated, with residents describing nightly disturbances from loud music and an influx of cars near their homes.

A particularly contentious point raised was the appointment of an individual known for violating codes to the county planning board, which residents feel undermines their concerns. They emphasized that their goal is not to oppose local businesses but to ensure adherence to existing codes and to receive timely communication about enforcement actions.

As the community anticipates the arrival of new businesses with the upcoming sewer line installation, residents are eager to find collaborative solutions to mitigate the impact on their neighborhoods.
