Fargo tackles homelessness with new engagement center initiative

Police Chief David Zabulski supported the idea of a new center, suggesting it could serve as an alternative location for diverting individuals in need of assistance, thereby reducing the burden on law enforcement and local jails. The meeting concluded with discussions on the need for a comprehensive strategy to address homelessness, including the implementation of a Housing First initiative, which aims to provide stable housing as a primary solution to homelessness.
