However, concerns were expressed about the number of people awaiting services in other areas, specifically for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF).

Officials reported that as of June 13, there are 146 children on the waitlist for PRTF admissions. This figure highlights ongoing challenges in providing timely access to necessary mental health services for youth. The meeting underscored the importance of tracking these numbers, as they are included in agency updates and are critical for understanding the demand for mental health resources in the community.
