Crowley schools set for record enrollment surge

In a recent government meeting, Crowley Independent School District officials provided an enthusiastic update on preparations for the upcoming school year. Dr. McFarland and Mr. Kirschner highlighted the district's readiness as the first day of school approaches, emphasizing a successful week of training and planning.

Mr. Kirschner reported that student enrollment has reached 16,687, marking a significant increase of 3% compared to the previous year's first-day enrollment of 16,148. He expressed confidence that this number will continue to rise, projecting that enrollment could surpass 17,000 in the coming weeks. This growth reflects the district's appeal to families, with Mr. Kirschner stating, \"Crowley ISD is the place to be and families are coming here and choosing Crowley.\"
