The Frankfurt Police Department has received new resources to enhance public safety, including an electric bike and a shield radar signal speed sign, thanks to a successful grant submission. In community news, the last concert of the summer series, featuring the Outcast Jazz Band, is set for Sunday, August 25, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Brighter Green. The 56th annual Frankfurt Fall Fest will take place over Labor Day weekend, from Saturday, August 31, to Monday, September 2. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the festival will feature over 300 artisan booths, live entertainment, a carnival, and a parade on Sunday. The carnival will begin on Wednesday, August 28, operating from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Additionally, the Frankfurt Lions Club will host its annual fest on Thursday, August 29, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Garden Entertainment Stage, located at Kansas and Oak Street.
