County plans bold redevelopment to transform challenging brownfield site

In a recent government meeting, officials discussed the future of a long-contemplated redevelopment project that has faced numerous challenges over the years. The property in question has reached the end of its operational life, prompting a call for innovative and economically viable land use strategies to revitalize the area.

The proposed basic plan aims to address significant site constraints while responding to community concerns through a creative mix of uses, programs, and amenities.
