In addition to budget discussions, the meeting addressed several procurement items for fiscal year 2025, including a $342,000 award for clean wash crushed stone for operations and an $863,000 order for unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel from Dedrick Valley Petroleum. Other notable items included a bid award for asphalt at $27.57 per ton and the sale of surplus property for $10,002.
The meeting also highlighted funding acceptance from the Maryland 911 Board, which includes $12,000 for wide range monitors and $205,000 for console furniture refreshment. Lastly, a consent item regarding a settlement with Kroger related to COVID-19 was discussed, marking another step in the ongoing response to the pandemic's impact on local governance.
