Latin Business Expo set to drive economic growth

During a recent government meeting, commissioners received an update on the upcoming 2024 Latin Business Expo, a key initiative aimed at fostering economic growth within the community. Jane, a representative from the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), highlighted the expo's significance as a sustainable project designed to support local businesses.

Launched in 2022, the Latin Business Expo has already made strides in its mission, with a committee of ten members led by Alejandro Arroyo. The inaugural event featured 99 paid vendors, showcasing a diverse array of businesses and services. The CRA emphasized that projects like this typically require a three-year window to ensure they can thrive independently and continue to benefit the community.

The update reflects the CRA's ongoing commitment to enhancing business development and recruitment efforts, particularly within the Latin community, as they prepare for the next iteration of the expo in 2024.
