He underscored the importance of skilled trades in the local economy and supported the proposal's commitment to community outreach and educational advancement for trades, which includes a $7.5 million restorative outreach program and a $16.75 million investment in education.

Ryan Adelberg, speaking on behalf of St. Pete Young Professionals, highlighted the cultural significance of baseball in community building, referencing historical moments where the sport provided hope and unity during challenging times. He urged the council to recognize the potential of the Rays-Hines project to position Saint Petersburg as a beacon of hope.

Damaris Lee, a local business owner, shared her personal experience of growth and opportunity through her restaurant, which has served various baseball teams over the years. She expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by the Rays organization since her arrival in the United States.
