The upcoming Post Falls Festival, scheduled for July 12th to 14th at Camille Park, was highlighted as a weekend-long event featuring live music, local vendors, food trucks, and a movie in the park. A parade will take place on Saturday, July 13th, at 10 AM along Southeast Way, between Spokane Street and Idaho. Residents are encouraged to visit the city’s website for a full schedule of events.
The meeting also included a special recognition for Joseph Moran, who received the prestigious Freedom Award for his significant contributions to the community, particularly his work on the trails at Kiwanis Park. This award, equivalent to the Eagle Scout honor in the Boy Scouts, reflects Joseph's dedication and civic responsibility. His efforts have notably enhanced the accessibility and enjoyment of the park's trails for all visitors. The council expressed gratitude for his service and commitment to the Post Falls community.
